Meet the world champions
Guests got to watch the profiles play, meet them up close and challenge them at the table themselves.

World champions.
Partners.
Business.
Ahead of the Team EuroChamps in Malmö, Brons Sports created the World Champions' Dinner on behalf of the Swedish Table Tennis Association – an event that brought together Swedish table tennis legends, the stars of the future, partners, business leaders and media.
Ahead of the home EuroChamps, the Swedish Table Tennis Association needed to create more than traditional visibility around the championship. The goal was to bring together Swedish table tennis history, today's profiles, sponsors, businesses and media in a setting that created attention before the competition started – while giving partners concrete value beyond the arena itself.
”A strong partnership isn't created by a logo alone. It's created through experiences, relationships and contexts that people remember.”
The World Champions' Dinner was built as an exclusive meeting between sport, business and entertainment. Guests got close to Swedish table tennis history through exhibition matches, meetings with the profiles, and the chance to challenge some of the sport's biggest names themselves. The evening continued with dinner, a stage programme and networking.
How did Sweden once manage to beat China – and how can Swedish table tennis do it again? The programme revolved around exactly that question.
The World Champions' Dinner created a meeting between generations. Swedish world champions J-O Waldner, Mikael Appelgren and Jörgen Persson met Truls Möregårdh – one of the profiles set to carry Swedish table tennis forward.
Developed the format for the World Champions' Dinner and built a clear narrative around Swedish table tennis history, the future and partnership.
Created an event format in which sport, sponsor value, networking and PR tied together.
Integrated partners into the event through visibility, hosting, products, relationships and experiences.
Built the evening's content around profiles, exhibition matches, conversations, dinner and networking.
Created the conditions for editorial attention before and during the Team EuroChamps.
Coordinated the whole event, from the sporting experience to dinner and partner relationships.
The dinner was held with Hjärtupproret as a partner to highlight the importance of defibrillators. Partners took an active role in the event. Rather than purely traditional exposure, they became part of the experience, the relationships and the story around the Team EuroChamps.

The World Champions' Dinner became a platform where the Swedish Table Tennis Association could combine partner relationships, storytelling, PR and exclusive meetings with some of Swedish table tennis's biggest names. For sponsors, it created a setting in which their partnership became part of the experience rather than exposure alone.
”The sport created the attention. The experience created the relationships.”
